An odds page and a forecast page answer different questions. The odds page shows what the market is willing to pay for a given outcome. A forecast page shows what a model, analyst, or tipster expects to happen. Neither one tells you what will happen.

Where the two sources disagree

When a forecast points one way and the odds point another, one of them is not necessarily wrong. Forecasts often describe a probability. Odds describe a price. - Does the forecast use the same market definition as the odds page? - Is the forecast timestamped, and does it still match current conditions? - Does the odds figure include the platform margin, or is it a raw probability? - Does the forecast account for fees, liquidity, and settlement rules? - Who published the forecast, and what happens to them if it is wrong? If any of these cannot be answered, the comparison is weaker than it looks.
